Solution 3: Disable Automatic App Pausing

Solution 4: Grant Essential App Permissions

For an app to deliver notifications reliably, it needs several key permissions. Check these settings carefully.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why are my notifications delayed on Origin OS?

Notification delays on Origin OS are typically caused by its aggressive battery optimization features, which restrict background app activities to save power. Our guide shows exactly how to adjust these settings for essential apps.

Will these changes drain my battery faster?

You might notice a slight increase in battery consumption for the apps you modify, but the impact is usually minimal. It's a necessary trade-off for receiving important notifications on time.

Do I need to apply these settings for all my apps?

No, it's recommended to apply these settings only for your most important apps where you need instant notifications, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Gmail, or other messaging and email clients.
